12 professional players from the Chinese Dota 2 scene have been banned from competitive play due to match fixing. Valve worked together with Perfect World to issue such penalties.
Five players received lifetime bans:

A familiar name in the list of players is Xiaoyu, who previously played for EHOME. The Malaysian was suspended by Valve and Perfect World for one year in 2023, and he has repeated more offenses after his suspension was lifted.
