The destroyed tower in the match between SAG and Aster became the fastest in history on the pro Dota 2
Yesterday, in the Upper Division of the DPC: China Season 2, Sparking Arrow Gaming used the strategy from the Amateur Dota 2 League against Team Aster and destroyed the first tower 25 seconds after the first creeps spawn.
It was the fastest tower-destroying in the history of the professional Dota 2. The previous record, 1 minute and 10 seconds, happened in The BTS Series in 2016 and belonged to Team Σ8A6C9151. In third place is the result of 2 minutes and 11 seconds, which happened at the World Cyber Arena 2016 Grand Finals between Vici Gaming and IG.Vitality. The statistics don't include matches of Amateur Tournaments.
The tower-destroying strategy is quite simple and bases on the abilities of three heroes: the Abaddon' passive ability Curse of Avernus, which gives attack speed bonus; Snapfire's Lil 'Shredder ability, which reduces the enemy's armor; and summons of Nature's Prophet, absorbing damage from the tower. All other heroes are situational and can be different.
