Gambit Esports renews record for prize money earned in a year

Russian organization Gambit Esports has renewed its record for the most prize money earned in a year. It won more than $2.3 million in 2021.
The main amount was earned in CS:GO ($1.6 million) and Valorant ($500,000), but the share of Dota 2 was $75,000. In 2021, the Dota 2 team participated in 2 majors, One Esports Singapour Major and WePlay AniMajor, but didn't reach the money prize places there.
The organization currently has 2 rosters. The first competes in the DPC: CIS Upper Division, while the second is in the Lower Division. After 3 weeks in the DPC Regional Leagues, the team from the Upper Division has a 1-3 statistic and is in 6th place. The team from the Lower Division has a 2-2 statistic and shares a 4th-6th place with the others.
